Angel Tail .. Introduction

Angel Tail, "Tenshi no Shippo", is a short shoujo/drama anime series of twelve episodes length. An extra two OAV episodes were also released in conjunction with the series, and a second TV series of seven episodes, 'Tenshi no Shippo Chu', was aired a short while later.

The main story follows a young man, Goro Mutsumi, who is having a bit of bad luck in his life. Twelve guardian angels are sent to help him turn his life around - they are the reincarnations of twelve animals he once had as pets. Together with the angels, he must save humanity from the reincarnations of the four beast gods, who wish to bring humanity equal again with animals. For rather a brief series it is quite entertaining, particularly for fans of the shoujo genre (fans of more action-based anime may find it a touch boring). It's not really a favourite of mine... I have seen many animes that were more entertaining, but it was a good waste of a few hours, and is suitable for pretty much any age to watch.
