Cowboy Bebop .. Introduction

Ah, Cowboy Bebop... one of, if not possibly the best anime I have yet seen. Yet another of the animes that began as a manga series, it consists of a 26 episode TV series, and a movie.

Bebop is a futuristic anime, based around a lot of action and comedy. Spike Speigel, a bounty hunter with great skills but really bad luck, works as part of a team with his friend Jet to catch criminals... with usually limited success. Throughout their adventures they pick up other crewmates for their ship (the "Bebop") - Ein, the supersmart canine... Faye, the cunning woman with a shadowy past... and Ed, a genius hacker girl who's really quite crazy! Bebop was perfectly executed right through, and finished beautifully (with stunning music throughout - go buy the OSTs!)... I'm not a personal fan of the dub, but if that's all you've got then watch it anyway. The voices may be bad, but hey, it's Bebop! A must-watch for any true anime fan.
