Mahou Tsukai Tai .. Introduction

Here's another amusing comedy, though probably not one of my personal favourites - Mahou Tsukai Tai. It originated as a six episode OAV, which was then extended into a thirteen episode TV series... and while it's possible for a lot of animes to lose their touch when a new series is added, this one kept it's cute humour right through.

Mahou Tsukai Tai is a comedy, based around a club of magic-users. The main character, Sae, is a new member to the club, and while she has very strong magic abilities, she has a lot of trouble controlling it! The series in general was very enjoyable, if not for the main characters then just for the president and vice-president of the club *lol* It's not necessary to watch the OAV first (but it does help)... there's an 18-second summary of the OAV at the beginning of the TV series, and most of my friends never saw the OAV and still loved the TV series. It's one of the better series I've seen, so particularly if you're a fan of a light comedy, I'd highly recommend this series.
